Just Gettin Ready

Hello everyone! all is well, Our mission President leaves in three days and our new one comes in! I'm super super excited! This past Sunday I had a cool experience, for some reason I really felt like I needed to fast and so I did. Later that day (around 4) we were in the area of a family with 2 unbaptized youth. We felt like we should go over there and say hello. We talked with them for a while and the dad (who is a convert) expressed that he's starting a job and he's super super nervous for it. We offered a blessing and he said he would love one. He asked if I could give it and it was there where I realized that's why Heavenly Father prompted me to fast. In the end he was very teary eyed and very grateful. We now get to go over on tuesday to have a lesson with their whole family! Life is so good! I love the scriptures more and more every day. I love you all! Elder Legas Pictures: (I havent had a haircut in FIVE weeks so please leave hate comments below @Luis) 1. Exchan...

That is a quote President Brad Hall gives us when he beats us out the door every day. He wakes up at 4:00am and goes to bed at 11 every night. The man is a machine.  We went on 4 exchanges this week and it was so dang fun. The Elders we have in the mission impress me so much. We called 3 new ZL's and I went with 2 of them, I learned a TON on how to be effective and how to continue being positive when people/ missionaries are jerks. Because we had all these exchanges we didn't have a lot of time in our area or time to prep for zone conference. Elder Norman and I are now scrambling to be ready by 8am tomorrow. Prayers would be appreciated :) I'm so glad I got to talk with my dad yesterday. We got to talk about fun stories from my early high school years. For all you youths that may read this, when your parents say, "one day you'll look back at me and thank me" It's absolutely true.  My dad knew his duties of Presiding, Providing, and Protecting our family. Wow! what an awesome week! We had a lot of meetings but it was a blast.  The best thing that happened this week was we got to go to the temple with the departing missionaries. The Spirit is so strong there and I know if you make that a priority in your life you can't go wrong. Gotta blast! Love Y'all!! - Elder Legas Pictures: 1. This was our baptism last week. (some fun guys right there) 2. MIDGET MARKET (word on the street is someone was killed there not too long ago. when you find something out like that and you have a car you gotta go!) 3. Departing Temple Trip. (SO LONG ELDER FREEZE AND NELSON) <3 4. Some glasses a missionary bought me. (I'm getting a tan line from them haha) 5. MLC (We're showing a video that our missionaries made that imitated "the safety zone" videos that the Church put out)
