I Love Life

So much Amazing stuff happened this week it's hard to think of what I want to write about!

Monday, Right as we were finishing up P-day an 18 yr old guy comes in and basically tells us he was lost, we were gonna help him with directions but then he said I'm lost in life. WELLLLLLL no one else wanted to cut P-day short and Me and Oringdulph wanted to teach him so we took him into a room and asked him what was up..

Basically this kid has done every drug on the planet (except meth) and is wanting to find a new life.

We gave him some things to read and BOY did he read! He stayed up all night and read through the whole darn Book of Mormon! notes and drawings and thoughts everywhere! we have taught him twice since then and we have seen how the gospel has changed him countenance.

I LOVED GENERAL CONFERENCE

My favorite talk was by an Apostle named Steven R Bangerter and he talked a lot about how to raise and teach children.

It reminded me of how amazing my parents are, I truly can say -like Enos- "blessed be the name of God for it"

My mom and dad "taught me in the nurture and admonition of the Lord" meaning they taught me what was right, they showed me how to work hard, they showed me how to pray and to have a relationship with God.

It took me a bad day "in the woods" for me to really apply what they had taught me. But because of the example they showed to me I knew what I needed to do. It changed me and my desires for the better.

The world is gonna be a very hard place to live in if we don't have a relationship with God and if we don't make our homes different from the world.

Go listen to the talks that were given this weekend. Almost every single one of them is about raising a family and how you can come closer to God by "Taking His name upon you"

We know that the revelations that come from the prophet and the apostles come from God.

We can apply the VERY FIRST RECORDED MIRACLE of Jesus Christ to our lives.

“Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it." (John 2:5)

When we trust in the Lord and in His teachings like "water to wine" our lives will be transformed. We will become someone better than we were before. You will bless others around you when you apply His teachings to your life. I see this EVERY SINGLE day I'm out here.

Like Alma I want to say

"Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever." (Alma 26:12)

I promise you will see those blessings come to you and your families when you apply these things to your life.

Love yall!!!
