You are half way through your mission general conference.  Crazy.  Was this one different from the MTC gc?  Where did you watch this one?  I guess your cousin Jessica had her baby. That's crazy. Mom and I went to pirates cove for a leadership thing last week,  it was fun. I got a ton of free cool stuff from Vivint.  Some new nike kicks, bags,  shirts,  jackets,  and a new AR rifle. 

So I had a couple of favorite talks but my question I had was how I could have a better attitude and testimony of early church history. (Btw, you never told me what you thought of that article I sent you)   

Elder Oaks and Christopherson both talked about the importance of learning the history. And that sometimes the history you read is not coming from a very reliable source.  Mom and I have been reading "the saints" together at night,  and it is interesting to me how unrefined our early leaders were.  They got into fights with each other, and argued. But I love that they were humbled and listened to the Spirit. I guess that was my lesson. Just be humble enough to do the things the spirit directs me to do. 

I'm heading to Vegas again tomorrow to get licensed so I can sell during the off season. I hate that place. What did your mission president say about having christmas with granny and grandpa?  How is your new comp doing? Did you get your sd card working?

I know I think its wild that I only have 2 left!! (my first weekend home I think is GC and I think that would be the best coming home present wink wink)

Honestly I have it printed off but I haven't had time to study up on it. 

My favorite quote about history of the church is something like

"The past is a foreign country, when you go there try and respect and understand where they were coming from. Yes it may seem odd to you but you are the one trying to understand more."

I don't know how it goes but something like that haha!

I haven't talked to him about granny and gpa yet. Ill be buying my sd card later today, we'll see how it goes.
