It's A Christmas Miracle!!

I'm all better! Strep throat is gone and I am SO thankful for antibiotics. My voice is raspy but I think it's fun. Thank you all for your prayers! :)

This past week I did an activity a lot of members of the church do/know about. 

I was told to put a bandana and pillowcase over my head enter a room to "just go" 

If you have not please read 1 Nephi Chapter 8. A lot of what I'll be talking about is coming directly from that chapter. FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THIS. 

I was told to "just go" (knowing the story and knowing what I was to look for) I listened for the "still small voice" a lot of the missionaries - who I trust - were the voices of "The Great and Spacious Building" I knew from the beginning I couldn't rely on them to get me to my goal. 

There was one sister who spoke in a very soft voice, "hey you can follow me." That is what I banked on. I followed and followed and reached a place where I was given a plant and told to keep moving. Right around this time there was another missionary with his phone flashlight and he was waving it in front of my face. -I noticed the light and thought it was neat. but I was so comfortable with the voice that I was following I brushed off this "light" and went with what I was comfortable with. 

After going back and forth in this "mist of darkness" I realized I wasn't getting anywhere with my life. That light was brought back into my memory. As soon as I called out to have that light it showed up. EVEN AFTER ALL THE TIMES I IGNORED IT. I eventually got back to the actual "tree of life" and "partook of the fruit"

This fruit was the same promised blessing I was going to get if I reached the tree. It did not matter I had strayed or not. It just mattered where I ended up. 

All of us are on the road back to our Heavenly Father. We will be enticed by either one or the other. We need to pay attention to what we feel when we make choices. We need to know God isn't going to take away our agency, if we fall He will be saddened but the SECOND we pray and ask God to come back He will be there! ALWAYS!

President Boyd K. Packer has told us all that we need to Study and restudy Lehi's dream.

That was just my experience with it and I hope it helped..

This week we found 2 people to teach. One is a Catholic 20 year old that has lots of questions and the other is a 14 year old boy that is mentally challenged. We cant wait to spend christmas with him.

We got our Transfer Call and I GET TO STAY FOR ANOTHER 6 WEEKS!! I am so happy! Elder O and I have a lot of work and I would've hated to leave it all. 

I love yall, we have to go.
