#LighttheWorld Miracles
If yall didn't know already its LIGHTTHEWORLD TIME!
that means we get to do service for those that might not have the best of luck.
This is a time that we can show our appreciation of Jesus Christ by doing exactly as He did when He was here. And that is to SERVE!
Elder Oringdulph and I were able to shovel a ton of people's snow on Saturday and then when we were on the way to a visit we ran into some people unloading a uhaul. We stopped and unloaded the rest for them. All the couches, rugs, tables, dressers. To the 3rd floor of an apartment building we are not allowed to tract as missionaries! But we found an "in"
The guy that we helped was literally 2 hours new to Idaho and hasn't met anyone and was stressed about not knowing anyone. He's from the country hills of Montana and never even heard of the missionaries before. He is 25ish and wants friends. We told him we know just the place! He told us there was something different about us that he was interested in! Then he offered us 40$ bc we helped him. We didn't take his money and told him that we love doing service because it brings us closer to God. He's going back to Montana for a week to get the rest of his stuff and he wants to meet with us on sunday!! Woot woot!
And then:
Elder O and I were walking to a home and waving at all the cars that drove by and skkrrrrt a car stops and a lady rolls down the window and says, "My mom is a Mormon and I want to get my life together. Can we set up an appointment?" BAM!
Christmas miracles are happening and it's because we are choosing to be obedient. Those same miracles and blessings are available to all of you. You just need to ACT!
I would LOVE to hear some of the miracles yall have! :)
