Missionary Work Is Like Camping... It's IN TENTS

Okay. Well.

Growing up with all brothers in the family has its ups and its downs.

UP: You have buddies to play with all the time.

DOWN: You sometimes get beat up.

UP: You can share clothes

DOWN: Your clothes will get wrecked.

UP: You can get frustration out by yelling, fighting, punching, and afterwards all is well

DOWN: YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO PROBLEM SOLVE WITH GIRLS

(Disclaimer: If you are a sister missionary reading this from another mission or if you are a returned missionary please don't think this is directed to you. This is specific to the sisters I deal with and the struggles I have going on at the moment.)

I have 4 sisters in my district. And with the responsibility of District leader I have to make sure morale is high and motivation is high. (the zone leaders of my area have told me I am on special assignment because of the situations I'm in) This past month we set some goals that were not achieved in the slightest.

I went to solve this problem like how I've seen coaches and parents solve it. I went in to solve it how it would motivate me.

YEAH NOPE. DIDNT FLY

Basically because the elders in the district were doing super good and the sisters weren't doing good the sisters felt like dookie. I GOT CALLED OUT HARD FOR IT

It was good though. I finally am starting to make the right steps in being "softer and more loving"

I have to make amends sometime, they still act awko taco around me. It's all good! This is one of the things I never thought I'd learn on my mission. (how to talk to girls) haha!

Some scriptures I have found that relate to my life right now.

Proverbs 21:19

" It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman. "

Proverbs 15:31-33

" The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.

He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.

The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility. "

All jokes aside I really am growing and I'm not trying to be stubborn. This is all new to me and it is SPOOKY!

I appreciate all the emails and the love! Yall have an amazing christmas!!

(you elders that are serving here in IDAHO FALLS MISSION I have trusted putting you on this list. Dont poop on anyone please) <3
