"This Fat Tie Makes It Look Like I'm Wearing A Bib"

Hello everyone!!
Transfers are done! :)

It's my favorite / least favorite week ever.

Favorite because we get to spend half a day with the departing missionaries and we get to meet all the new on fire missionaries.

Least favorite because the lack of sleep and because of all the babysitting that happens.

Also favorite because the Friday and Saturday are days 100% devoted to our area.
President Hurley told us that he wanted to see what real missionary life was like and so me and him went on exchanges for half a day, we personal studied, comp studied, the whole shabang. I also got to be his companion in church meetings and I got to sit up front with him. We had a lot of laughs, he told me I'm a lot like him when it comes to the mentality of a missionary so that was kind. He said there's a difference in missionaries now then when he was out. I'm so grateful for that man.

We found a bunch of new potentials. There was one lady that has been sober from heroine and a bunch of other crazy stuff for a year. She has been to 49 funerals this year from her drug friends passing away. She said it's hard to see them go but she really is happy she's sober. She asked if we could come by again. She asked if we could come when her boyfriend isnt there because he really doesnt like missionaries. We're very excited.

The "sacrifices" we feel like we're making as followers of Christ bring so many blessings. We sometimes forget that there are traps that we pass by because we are obedient to the things our parents have taught us, or church has taught us, or what the prophet has taught us.

I'm so grateful to be serving those that don't have parents, dont have church, and dont have a knowledge of prophets. I get to be a "bearer of good news" that they can be happy when they try and change their lives.

Christ is never going to turn us away,

"Listen to him (Christ) who is the advocate with the Father, who is pleading your cause before him (The Father)—

Saying: Father, behold the sufferings and death of him who did no sin, in whom thou wast well pleased; behold the blood of thy Son which was shed, the blood of him whom thou gavest that thyself might be glorified;

Wherefore, Father, spare these my brethren that believe on my name, that they may come unto me and have everlasting life."
(D&C 45:3-5)

Friends and Family, there is never a late time to come unto Christ. Act on the prompting you feel. These "sacrifices" will bring blessings!!

Love yall!
