"This Is Better Than Retirement!"

^ that's a quote from our Mission President when we called him and told him we were going to be home at 11 because of some exchanges. (He got "mad" at us for being late but then said he was still in Blackfoot having the time of his life)

I got to go on a few exchanges this week and it was so much fun, yall probably remember some of my Elder Trezise stories but he got to come work in our area. It was so fun, we had to take some missionaries to the airport and we contacted some SUPER solid referrals! He's really helped me grow as a missionary. We had some dang good talks.

I also got to go with Elder Steele!! (another one I've talked about!) I got to go to his area and he showed me the ropes! we talked to a ton of people and set up 4 solid appointments for him to go back to. (we did this all between 6-8:30) in that afternoon we had to deal with a missionary that punched a hole in a wall and scared his/her companion half to death. (I use his/her to keep confidences)
It was a really cool experience for me to go and sit down and talk to this missionary, I had no idea what I was going to say but then it all came to me and the missionary feels a ton better and their companionship is doing amazing now.

WE ALSO HAD A BAPTISM!
It was nerve racking 10 minutes prior to the baptism because the person they wanted to baptize her (who drove a long way to get there) forgot his Temple recommend (but then found it) but then found out it was expired! We dealt with it and got it resolved and went on our merry way. The families that came to the baptism I know felt the Spirit. Already a few of them have made the steps necessary to go through the Temple. (Bring your friends to baptisms y'all! God's love is SO present!)

I had the opportunity to confirm Mariah this past Sunday, It was an absolute honor. She told me that I seemed to "click" with her more than any other missionary she's met with. I know part of the reason I'm in Idaho is to have been able to meet her. The work isn't done yet!

Pictures:
1. Saw my son Elder Leavitt as he was out riding his bike #proud

7. (Elder) Nathan Freeze came up and took us out to lunch! love him
8. (Elder) Jacob South was at the VC and had a very memorable moment. Proud of that guy!
9-10. (Elder) Andrew Lewis also came up TODAY to take us to Breakfast! (That's Elder Corbett's back to us. We love him)

(I just realized I saw a lot of "dead" missionaries this week. That means I'm getting old as well but I absolutely don't feel like it.)
