"This Is Too Good To Be True. I'm Waiting For Something Bad To Happen"

President said that ^ in a meeting.... AND THEN IT DID (only 24 hours later)

- An elder punched another elder in the face and gave him a black eye. (no ET, they laugh about it now) 

- We had to emergency some Elders out of Jackson, silly choices were made but everything was resolved

- Some other Elders got a gun pulled on them and the person that did it knows exactly where they live and what car they have. right after the incident the man went missing and the Elders saw the guy driving slowly past their house. (They got ETed as well) Scary stuff but we hope everything is resolved! The elders that went thru it are champs!

I had a few AMAZING exchanges this week. But the neatest thing that happened missionary wise is yesterday we took a man and his family of 6 to the visitors center.

Background:

Everyone in the family extremely active except for him, in fact, he's not even a member.

He's been thru 8 sets of missionaries actually. About a week ago we had dinner at their place and shared a brief message on the plan of salvation and the importance of families, then the Spirit prompted us to ask him to fast for our next appointment at the VC. He said he never has and probably never will.. I saw his wife get really sad, It was devastating. 

E. Stowell and I get home and we prayed that the Spirit would be able to touch his heart. 

WE GET A TEXT SATURDAY NIGHT FROM THE WIFE

"Sergio is fasting! That is progress! A few years ago he was asked to fast and he wouldn't."

We take that as some definite answers to prayers and we go through with the lesson. 

We watched a video called "God's Plan for Families" and afterwards the wife was beaming and he was kindof just quiet. We sat there and just waited. He's usually the jokey type to say something to make situations less serious but he totally opened up!! OH MAN! He said he still wants to take things slow but that is progress! The joy we saw on his kids face and on his wife's made me almost cry. 

If y'all are seeking answers or guidance I encourage you to fast! God rewards Sacrifices.

1-3. ORINGDULPH AND I WERE BACK TOGETHER!! We got to teach together and go to the temple!! It was amazing!

4. We caught a HUGE spider and lit a fire of hand sanitizer around it then lifted the cup. it died. 

5. A few days ago we went to a lesson but there were cop cars around the apartment.. The kids did something naughty we think.

7-9. REXBURG EXCHANGE (Elder Dumer is the ZL and Garrison is the DL there and they are lighting it up!) they are some trustworthy guys and I learned a ton from them. (Also the puppy pic is like the 5th most joyful I've been since being out. they were so cute)
