"I Don't Want This To Be A Secret Combination"
This week was so inspiring! We had Brother Littlefield come to our Zone Conferences and he taught with power!
This is some notes I had as he talked with us.
This is more for other missionaries serving but it all is good :)
The Lord blesses the consistent
“Faith moves mountains, but it often takes shovel full after shovel full”
Key Indicators measure what OTHERS do, not what we have accomplished.
“Focus on finding those that want to progress, not those that will just listen”
As you have adversity look outward
Tender mercies are for those that acknowledge and recognize them
We follow up, not give up
With our faith we can CAUSE miracles
“Faith can cause things to happen that otherwise wouldn’t happen”
If you want to find the elect:
PROVE to the Lord that you know the difference
PROVE to the Lord that it matters to you
PROVE to the Lord you know how to spend your time
“When you prove to the Lord you cherish the elect you will find more elect.”
If we expect others to change their lives we also must make changes and sacrifices in our own lives
If you get those you are teaching to ask questions they will want to receive the answer
A culture of faith begins with knowing the steps of success
Anyways, we're out and about today and I know y'all only like the pictures so here they are:
Pictures:
1. Daniel shot a coyote with an elk rifle (300 ultra mag I think)
2. My posterity
3. Yall might just think this is an average selfie with some eiseles in the background but what you dont know is that this was taken at midnight before a zone conference day. We put off trying to find some until 10 and it took us FOREVER to find some. This was a tender mercy
4. This picture is why the subject line is what it is. After Elder cano and I cut our hair a bunch of other elders did it too. (President Hurley is the one we're all trying to look like)
5. "We look hart" - Elder Cano
6. EXCHANGES WITH ELDER ORINGDULPH
7. EXCHANGES WITH ELDER NIELSON (he had to do Myplan at the hospital)
