I Know It's True. Therefore, What?

Yesterday was one of the most Spiritual days I've had on my mission. I now have a new favorite hymn. At a fireside all the missionaries that were there got invited to sing a song called "I Believe in Christ". I wish so bad the appreciation I have for that song could be expressed in my voice. Or even words as I write y'all today.

It says, "I believe in Christ - my Lord my God! [...] I'll worship him with all my might; He is the source of truth and light."

In the 15 seconds it took to sing that line, 22 months worth of memories flashed into my mind. Times where I've felt encouraged for no reason came to me and I recognized that it was because of Christ.

It goes on, "I believe in Christ; so come what may!"
Never before had I felt so motivated to give up everything to my God. With the little bit of time I have left I know the sacrifices I make will be worth it in the end. Whatever comes, I will love it :)

"And now behold, I say unto you that the right way is to believe in Christ, and deny him not; [...] worship Him with all your might, mind, and strength, and your whole soul; [...]"
(2 Nephi 25:29)

If we KNOW Christ is always going to be there for us WHAT are we going to do about it? The truth that we testify of also needs to be made manifest in our actions. (Hence the reason for my subject line)

WHITEWASH TIME!!
Elder Fa'aumu and I finally got to Rexburg and we are LOVING IT! We gave up our car to be the mission guinea pigs to see if missionaries can really cover a whole stake on foot. So far it's working even though it's pretty dang cold. We had a baptism this Saturday which was really neat.

One of the coolest things happened on Sunday, We hadn't found a person to teach yet and we really wanted to find someone so they could feel the love God has for them. At around 6:15 we met a lady named Amanda, turns out she just got to Idaho hours before we got there and on the way here she was reading in Genesis. We talk to her more about what we do and she said she was a little familiar but she had a lot of questions. We could tell she wanted to talk to someone that was a convert.. Then BOOM it hit us that there was a Fireside with a Convert speaker there! but it was really really soon and we basically had to leave right then. We (not wanting to walk 62562 hours to the fireside) asked / made her and her boyfriend let us tag along with them as we crammed into their tiny pickup truck. On the way there we passed the Rexburg Temple and talked about the amazing things that can happen inside. She thought it was amazing. She then asked about baptism!

We get to the fireside and it was an older couple that talked about how the Gospel of Jesus Christ saved their lives and their marriage. But that it also helped them overcome their addictions. THIS MEETING WAS TAILORED TO THE PEOPLE WE BROUGHT

Afterwards Amanda and Kregg talked with Elder and Sister Cross for a while, and then Amanda comes over and asks when we can meet again. We now will be having 3 lessons a week with her and her boyfriend.

(The reason this is so cool is because this area when we got here only had 2 people in the teaching pool, members faith was dropping but now we're seeing miracles.)

I love you all, I'm sorry for the long'n!
