Shorty

Hey everyone! 

This is gonna be super short because I already talked to my fam and because I'm really excited about our zone activity today! We're having a "Favorite Childhood Cereal Party" and we're gonna have a bunch of random games associated with it. The Sisters in our zone came up with it. They're the best. 

We had Zone Conference & MLC this week!

It was inspiring as heck. I'm more motivated than ever to be bold with those that we are teaching and with those that we will begin to find. It was so cool to see that the second our companionship made the decision to be bold and to be persistent the Lord blessed us with miracles! We found a couple to teach that we literally knocked in to! (That's right y'all, tracting is the most effective method out there. JKJK) but the lady was SO MEAN at first but then after a little conversation we ended up in the house, sharing a message, saying a prayer, and then TAKING A PICTURE! They're so genuine! You just have to be a little persistent. THEN at church we ran into a lady that just showed up that lives here and isn't a member and wants to take the lessons! WHAT THE HECK! 

I've seen that the longer that I've been out on my mission I've gained a greater understanding of who Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are to me. Prayer has become more natural and heart felt. Every day, as I've written down miracles I've seen God give me I've seen how my personal testimony has grown. I've felt more certain that the Lord has my back in this work. I'm grateful for those that have inspired me to always acknowledge God's hand, and to look at life with an eternal perspective.

1. PRESIDENT HALL! You know how they say a picture is worth a thousand words? Well, this picture is worth more than 5 Billion Dollars. I love this guy, I lived in his basement for 11 months and he taught me so much. He gave a training and beat the heck out of me during all of zone conference :)

2. President Hurley being the best Mission President we could ever ask for. (For those that can't see, his belt buckle is the trophy for the National Auctioneer contest he won) He used it as a visual during his training, it was amazing

7. Jacob Hurley got his mission call to BENTONVILLE ARKANSAS! The only reason I was allowed to go to Ammon from Rexburg is because President "Needed me to fix his computer at his house"

9. A letter of future release I got in the mail but then a secret note President put on it. "I have contacted Salt Lake and they have extended your mission for 30 months. We are so excited!!!" This is just his personality, He's so amazing. -Also, I am stoked for being here for the next 30 months. Sorry mom and friends, I'll miss y'all ;)

11. Last night some people that served in our mission came and knocked on our door! It was THE BEST surprise ever. I love them so much. We had some good conversations :) -Also, I got to bed on time so we're safe
