Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!!  This week flew by! What's so great about living in Idaho where there's a bunch of Mormons is they all celebrate the 24th of July! so I got to bounce around from ward party to ward party and it was awesome. there was tons of people to contact! one ward had a cobbler cook off and they surprised me with a birthday cake! they all sang for me and everything! It was nice to feel like I had family here with me.  On the 26th we were out making our rounds and I was shimmying through some dusty cars not wanting to get gross stuff on my shirt and out comes this dog from the bushes and latches on to my ankle! I Freaked out and kicked it off me and was about to throw hands with this pooch but then a guy came staggering out of a tiny little trailer clearly intoxicated. So this past Thursday I had to say goodbye to my trainer Elder Hatch. It was a bummer because we were such good pals, we had everything in common.  I honestly thought my new companion would be lame sauce.. Boy was I wrong. At one moment of the day -I'd say 26 hours after I initially met him, we were walking out of the stake center and he kept talking in Spanish and I didn't know what he was saying and it was annoying. I hop into the car, He goes to the back (bc he has to back me when...

Elder Hatch and I taught her FHE group and she didnt know about the surprise. Seein family was a tender mercy from Heavenly Father to keep me goin strong thru the week.  Like I said, its been a long one. I went on 3 exchanges with 3 different missionaries and there were lots of adventures that followed. One of them was the other missionaries apartment flooded so we had to sleep in a swampy wet floor. The smell was probably the worst part. the next comp we tried to make some fried chicken and the oil was too hot and so the chicken on the outside got super crispy but the middle was raw. I wasnt hungry so my comp ate it and thought he was gonna be ok until our drive up to swan valley. he got pretty sick to say the least. The next and last exchange was the best for me. it was with my district leader E...
