Hey yall!  My preparation day is on a Tuesday this week because I wanted to be able to go to the Temple.  This week was great, it was my last week being a spanish missionary (for now) The other night I got a call from President Nelson and he asked if I was ready to train for the 2nd time! I was so excited to be able to do it again. I have a lot of stuff I want to do differently and I want to depend on the Lord more instead of trying to do everything on my own and how I think it should be done.  (in my 6 months of being a missionary I've had 8 companions! -not counting the one I get on thursday!)  HAHA! okay funny story about me speakin spanish! We were at a baptism and at the end of it a lady came up to me and just started speaking super super fast and at first it didn't sound like she was even speaking spanish! but after a pause I understood what she was saying! I tell her, "soy de alabama" (I am from Alabama)  "Tengo viente anos" (I'm 20 years old) and...

"I love being a spanish missionary" Hey y'all! I'm back! This week was awesome! there was so much spanish work that we got to do. People think it's so funny that I cant speak at all. what I think is funny is I can understand about 80% of the conversations. (people talk behind my back and say "el gringo es feo" and that translates to "the white guy is handsome") I'm happy I can get those boosts of confidence ;) I realize I haven't talked about any of the people I'm teaching!!  There's one family named the Sanders and they talked with the missionaries about 6 years ago and baptized their oldest 2 daughters. We tracted into them and they said they wanted to have their other daughters (11 and 8) be baptized! those girls are amazing!! theyre like the sisters I never had. I get to show them magic and it is the best hahah! Another lady is Shijuan Li and she speaks only chinese. We correlate with a translator and he takes over the lesso...

"I know that my Heavenly Father loves me" I felt SO MUCH of Heavenly Fathers love this week. Thank you all so much for your prayers. They really helped me feel uplifted and energetic and happy.  Tuesday I was still feeling down in the dumps but I decided I needed to do some studies and so I started reading and I had a lot of awesome inspiration! I was reading about Enoch and how he was called to call the people in the Old Testament to repentance. Enoch argues and says, "Why [...] have I found favor in thy sight, [I] am but a lad, and all the people hate me; for I am slow of speech; wherefore am thy servant?" (meaning "am I qualified to be your servant?") The Lord responds and tells Enoch, "Go forth and do as I have commanded thee, [...] Open thy mouth, and it shall be filled, and I will give thee utterance, for all flesh is in my hands, and I will do as seemeth me good." It's been a really hard week. I don't want to sugar coat it or anything. Plain ol' messed up.  This week started off fine, Elder Boyack and I worked hard, had some comp inventories and helped him not miss home. The thing he said helped him the most was just to work hard so he didn't have to think about home. Thats what we did.  Wednesday hit and we had Zone Conference and the whole theme was "To Change Today" It motivated me a lot. I took 6 pages of notes. I tried to get Elder Boyack to take notes but he just sat there with his arms crossed. Zone Conference can be the most amazing thing for you or the most torturous 7 hours of your life. I loved it. Boyack unfortunately, didn't. This is where I started to see a change in everything about Elder Boyack. He didn't make eye contact, he didn't want to do anything besides be on his phone. He had a meeting with President after the Conference and we went home and worked. Thursday night he says "Elder ...
